The food is definitely overpriced. I have had mixed experiences at the restaurant however. My partner and I had gone in the meal was fun. The food was decent even if overpriced. The atmosphere was fun. I went with another friend and it seemed that our server was racist towards her. they asked her for her credit card in advance to run it and check to see if there was a balance on it, I have never been more offended or embarrassed at a location in my life. I want to assume that this is a server issue and not a restaurant issue, but I will not be returning as long as that server remains

I prefer this restaurant very much. there is a nice spirit. The meals are very tasty. the service is dynamic and the crew is professional. The cost is modest. greatly recommend.

Barking Frog was a suggestion from my aunt while we were in town and it was excellent.

My brother and sister had the Bloody Mary, which had a beef stick, bacon, pickled asparagus, olive and celery. They both said it was savory and filling for a drink.

The beignets were hot and fluffy and the huckleberry cream cheese was very flavorful

I had the biscuits and gravy and added the fried chicken. The biscuits were buttery and flaky and the gravy was savory. The chicken was moist and juicy.

My girlfriend had the crab cake Benedict which the bite I had was packed with flavor as well.

Our server was attentive and kept our drinks full.

Overall, it was a great experience.

Outstanding restaurant, fantastic service and amazing food! This is my first review for Barking Frog during a visit for lunch for two during restaurant week.

We arrived at 12 pm and was shown to our table right away. The atmosphere is very warm, cozy and inviting. Our service from start to finish was right on the mark. Our water glass was filled right away when half empty. Our server was friendly and professional.

The food was served with no delay and arrived hot and well-presented. The portion size was just right and the quality was very impressive. The restaurant is easy to locate, right across from Willow Lodge with adiquite parking. During busy times however you may end up having to park at the next door parking lot.

Overall, a great experience and highly recommended. We hope to go back and sample their wine selection.

This lovely restaurant is part of Willow Lodge in Kirkland. My wife and I stopped in on a Monday morning and we were seated in just a few minutes. It’s a beautiful restaurant with beautiful beams and a cozy atmosphere.

My wife ordered the steel cut oatmeal and I had the huckleberry pancakes with bacon. The oatmeal came adorned with fresh berries and was not soupy. Taste was pleasing. The pancakes were plate sized and beautiful browned. The first bite immediately tells you these are not ordinary, in a good way. Rich butteriness and the huckleberry flavor was sweet. Both meals were very good and portion size was generous. We are enjoying them again this morning.

Parking was easy to find and for Tesla owners there are destination chargers available (4).

If you’re having a date morning this place will not disappoint.
