Tons of naval memorabilia. Excellent service. Specials every night and a really good selection of beers. I enjoy eating here a couple nights a week.

We were recently there with a very large group (probably about 24), mixture of kids & adults. The atmosphere was very relaxing, but felt very bad for the server. Even with our large group, she still covered almost the entire other rest of the restaurant. This meant that food was cold, drinks were late & the kids were not served first. (1st rule of serving- serve them first, even if it's just drinks.) They did have a very broad selection of drinks & food, and despite no help from anyone else, the server was friendly & kind.

My first visit to this bar and grill turned out to be really fantastic! Anita my waitress was very helpful in giving me menu and drink options. I ordered a mean and it was served hot and very timely. The atmosphere here is cozy and and VERY submarine theme based. I recommend coming early to arrange parties as this place is very popular and seating can be challenging when everyone shows up. The alcohol selection here is really good. I plan to return if I make my way to this part of the country again as I was touched by the friendly atmosphere and great company. Thank you Anita for all you did in your part of my trip. I will mention that I was able to purchase a black hoodie from here that has the bar and grill's logo. They offered T-shirts also from what I understand. Parking is available both on the street and the numerous parking garages nearby.

The Horse & Cow is legendary as the most famous submarine bar on the planet. It boasts a huge selection of great beers. Being located in a Navy town and in the craft beer epicenter of the country doesn't hurt either. Burgers are generous and creative but go to see the incredible collection of submarine memorabilia on the walls. A good bit of it dates back over 50 years. You don't have to be qualified (in submarines) to enter but don't be surprised if you're the only one who isn't. My favorite watering hole in Bremerton.

Definitely a mainstay for Bremerton. The food is good but I just like the atmosphere. It sucks when it is busy because it is a seat-yourself type of place. If you are stuck waiting for a seat, you need to be vigilant or else someone else can walk in and take an open seat you missed.
