Good appetizers (tapas) they are great. I love to go there.
An awesome chill place to get delicious appetizers and small portion awesomeness. As well as so beer an cider. And just down from the arcade bar and the two board game bars near by.
Toro Lounge is located a couple of blocks from the ferry and next to Another Castle barcade. I feel as though the atmosphere is accustomed to an establishment found in downtown Seattle; dark, clean, classy.
It is a tapas bar where they have smaller plates intended to share with others.
I have eaten here a couple dozen times. I think about 60% of the menu is static (which is good beca the most popular things stick around), and 40% seems to be changing pretty frequently, maybe seasonal or experimenting with new things. 90% of the meals I've had, I have really enjoyed and thought were a good balance. The other 10% was likely a mix between not my taste and a couple weird things that may not be to my taste as in a wedge Salad. I've taken many dates to this location and everyone enjoys it. Overall, the food is very good and seems fairly diverse.
The staff has always been very nice and friendly. They are pretty busy in some instances and not always immediately available but they do make periodic checks and come if flagged down. This is not due to them being lazy or inattentive, more so due to being overly busy with lots of guests.
I typically visit in the evenings and weekends, and this place seems to always be pretty busy/full.
A testament to the popularity of this place.
They have approximately 20 tables, a long bar, a couple lounge seats next to the big windows, and then a small area with a bar top and bar stools (but no bar, it looks into the restaurant). It's a good area to have at least for overflow on busy nights. From this area you can also see the semi open kitchen area where food is being made.
Bathrooms are darkish and appropriately clean, accommodating 2-3 people at a time.
Personal opinion: Sliders are great. Black been sliders are probably my favorite. Even my vegan hating friend loves them.
Would recommend this restaurant.
Awesome night spot. Killer truffle fries. Recommend this spot if you are going out on the town. Busy, and buzzing. Great drink specials.
Awesome spot to hang out. Food has always been delicious and the drinks are pretty good too. They have a pretty decent variety of beers and ciders to choose from and I've never been disappointed. Great seating usually and they even have an outdoor area to hang out, and if you sit outside the beers are actually cheaper in the afternoons. Will definitely go back again.
