The Kingston Ale House

Another good time out with a party of six. Service was full 4 stars and the food same with a good selection of beer to boot. An ex excellent smoked porkchop was throughly enjoyed by our party. If you're lucky to visit when this is the special then indulge and enjoy it. This is a reliable pub that has become our local. Make a reservation and sit in the back for the best service.

We went there with a Group to experience a 5 course dinner wine pairing/tasting event. It was a 3 hour, $100 a plate (incl. tax and gratuity) event, very well organized and informative. The wine selection was excellent (need a designated driver for sure!)! Every element of the 5 courses was prepared from scratch on the premises. Portions are small, but added up it was filling enough. On a personal note - it would have been better not to have 2 fatty meat main course meals (Prime Rib and Smoked Duck Breast), as I cannot eat fat, but everything was well prepared and delicious. Although I've never been a fan of Sorbet, admittedly their home made lemon sorbet topped with home made Limoncello liquor was excellent!

Service was superb. Food was delicious although overpriced by $6-$8 on pretty much everything. Descriptions of food items on the menu could be better. The total bill for our appetizer, two entrees and two glasses of wine would have been $20 less at other fine restaurants.

Very friendly service from greeters to wait staff and bar service. Excellent BBQ chicken salad. My waitress Lana was great and checked back often.

The seafood is 5 star. Fresh and perfectly cooked. The service is excellent!
The sauces are pure ambrosia. I am a local Kingstonite. I am blessed to have such a wonderful restaurant in my back yard. The beer and wine choices are many and excellent. I can't say enough good about the Kingston Ale House. Thank you owners!!!!!
