The food here is AMAZING! But the waiter I had today was SO rude! I asked if the tortillas were legit Spanish Tortillas since Spanish Tortillas are so different than Mexican (they are more like a quiche) and he said "how would I know? I'm not from Spain?" Ok....I thought at a Spanish restaurant you would know. Then when he came back I told him what I wanted while he was pouring our water and he told me very rudely to be patient his hands were full... I literally ordered two orders of dates and a drink.... No that hard.
Anyways I LOVE the tapas here. I go out of my way for their bacon wrapped dates and was shocked at the rudeness of the waiter ...
Have some tapas dishes and enjoy a glass of wine. Lamb meatballs were superb. Then walk around the scenic Poulsbo waterfront.
My husband and I were coming through Paulsbo at lunchtime and decided on tapas. As soon as we walked into Paella Bar, we were greeted warmly and seated.
We had a seared tuna carpaccio appetizer, as well as a rolled eggplant dish. They were both delicious!
The Sangria was delightful. You will have to try it yourself to describe it your own way. All unique works of art in a glass!
As we continued up the road with rain falling on the windshield and "Sukiyaki" on the radio, we knew we were rolling into a wonderful weekend on the peninsula.
Delicious tapas and a very large selection. Great prices. Excellent drinks. Friendly and efficient service. The menu selections are so creative and well prepared. The bartenders are very impressive. Order the Spanish Coffee for a visual experience. And the white sangria really hits the spot.
You really got to try it once and no doubt, you will be a regular.
The food, the drinks, the ambiance are all excellent! The Bloody Mules were bloody good! We highly recommend dining at the Paella Bar.
