We've been here a couple times now and there's not much I can say that hasn't already been said in all of the great reviews and photos of this place. I will agree with all of them and this is a place to try for sure! The things I agree with, the food is amazing and you can tell it's all made freshly for you when you order, but you don't wait forever either. Both times we've been here, it's been completely empty which I have no complaints about. The owner is very friendly and attentive and has said we just missed the lunch rush both times. The first time we came, he swore he'd seen me before, but I kind of have one of those faces. The second time, he did actually genuinely recognize us and that was cool since it has been a couple months in between visits. The layout is a bit funky as people have said, but it's not completely confusing. There's an alarm on the door and the owner quickly greets you if you get lost. It is also very family friendly, which I haven't noticed anyone mention yet. He is always impressed by our son's orders and compliments him on his great taste, but it does seem like he's willing to make any changes for picky eaters.

My only beef would be how expensive it seems. We've only done lunch with 2 or 3 of us and at the end of the meal, I always feel a bit bewildered by how much it is at the end. They use a tablet type order and payment system and he of sets it right in front of you at the end and sort of watches as you select your tip amount and insert your payment card. I don't mind tipping big because he's so cool and his service is awesome, but it's a little awkward having him watch and it doesn't afford much opportunity to go over the bill and figure out how it got to where it is. For example, my son and I shared an appetizer, both had lunch specials and each had a baklava at the end and only drank waters and the bill came out north of $55 which seems high for a lunch on a weekday for a dude and his kid. The only reason I make an issue of it is, I'd eat here a lot more often if it was a bit cheaper, otherwise, it kind of has to be an only once in a while experience to justify the cost. It could just be me since I'm new to the area, some things just seem more expensive out here. The one reviewer who tried tipping $5 kind of deserved whatever stink face they may have gotten for being so cheap on the tip.

All in all, this is a great experience, with great food. We may try to figure out some ways to be more communal and share our food to keep the price down, since the portions are really big anyway. I always leave very full

MUST: Get the baklava at the end, it is truly the best ever. DO NOT miss it.

The food was amazing. Even if someone in your group is a picky eater they will find something they like. The house special has a bit of everything and all of it was yummy. Cinnamon on the rice was a nice touch and the mint tea complimented everything wonderfully.

Top notch, authentic, delicious Lebanese food. The owner is very friendly and engaging. Very informative and confident in his recipes. Absolutely delicious. I haven’t found something on the menu yet that I haven’t enjoyed and I’ve almost tried everything! Great place for date night if your girl is a picky eater.
