Yummy, great place for special events 😋

Basalt is wonderful. An ambiance unlike any other in the area and amazing flavors in the bar as well as kitchen. Dylan, the bartender is great and the mussels had incredible flavor.

I live in Ellensburg and recently tried out Basalt for the first time. I almost felt a little out of place at such a fancy ritzy restaurant, good thing I dressed for the occasion! The service was very attentive and outstanding. I applaud and thank the staff, the restaurant was busy yet we had all we needed. It was almost like the bartender had telepathy or something. Food and drinks were amazing! Seriously amazing. Rack of lamb was incredibly tender. I think i’ll have to be back !

Amazing place to eat with delicious food and desserts! I got the cauliflower steak and it was fantastic! The sun dried tomato sauce really pulled the whole dish together. Dessert is a must have! The pastry chef must be sent from the gods themselves to make such amazing goodies.

The food was AMAZING! We had the steak with baked macaroni and cheese and cauliflower gratin. The waiter accidentally brought us a baked potato but let us keep it and still brought us the macaroni and cheese. The only reason they lose a star is because their cocktails were awful and overpriced. I’m sure their wine is great if you like wine, but definitely don’t get their cocktails if you’re looking for something sweet. We will definitely be back, just without ordering drinks next time.
