“In town for a job interview from Olympia. Humble surroundings, questioned whether to stop or not, but so glad I did. Interior is cozy, charming, and well laid out. Sat in a table for two in a cozy little raised platform near the front window. Every mug is different, and utensils, glasses, plate ware were all clean. Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. The menu is a little overwhelming with options, but a big part of that is because there are so many options that are appealing, and leave the customer likely to return for further exploration of the menu on future visits. Had the Monte Cristo. Turkey was definitely cooked here, and hand pulled. Overheard the same is true about the corned beef and shredded beef. Good sizes, down home prices, local conversation. Will be back this way.”

“Pros: Safeway is always clean and tidy. Produce and meats are good quality. Stores are conveniently located and there is always ample parking. New policy that babies/kids can eat a piece of fruit while shopping is awesome! .Cons: Savings App is a hassle to use (I have never been able to use the "just for you" bonus area of the app), some locations have very little organic produce, restrooms aren't always clean and tidy, prices are fairly high, and parking lots have huge areas where deep puddles form in the rain.”

Bartenders were all friendly and attentive in the three visits I've had, and their outdoor seating is a nice addition for getting some fresh air with drink in hand. However, out of the 4 times I have eaten there...having something different each time I have only had one meal that didn't have anything wrong with it. The potato skins have been great every time. My food has been cold, or lacking in flavor. The meal I had tonight was clam strips & chips. The clam strips were huge and tough as rubber. I was able to only eat a few of them. No taste to what I could eat. I think I will keep my order to fish & chips and potato skins. Their prices are too high for the quality of the food that I have had.”

“For what they have the food is usually pretty tasty and fresh. I'd give them 5 stars if they had just a little bit more of a selection. They also need a bigger dessert area and maybe focus a little less on having so much sugar free stuff, I tried the sugar free cheese cake and, to put it lightly, I almost had my lunch a second time. The cooks, waiters, waitresses and hosts are always friendly and accommodating. Pretty enjoyable buffet all things considered. A bigger selection and more regular dessert options please.”
