“Always clean inside and out. Staff is friendly and efficient. The walnut shrimp. OMG! Yep, that good. Wife and I have missed the taste of a good steak and after our visit, we still are. We ordered 2 strip steaks, cooked perfectly however, the quality if the cuts left a lot to be desired. A large amount of fat and gristle for a strip steak. 25% was unedible. We still frequent Chen's. We will just be sure to order their great chinese dishes.”

“What a great spot. I first stopped here while riding my motorcycle up the coast and needed to stretch my legs. I made a point to seek it out again. Prices are extremely affordable, the food is high quality and delicious. Atmosphere is unassuming, as a food cart/trailer with an outdoor seating area, but it's delightful on a clear day. Absolutely worth a stop.”

“So glad I stopped here on a whim, needing a break from driving in the the wild wind and rains! Incredibly quaint, eclectic, and cozy, like you are in Joelle's dining room! Order a bratwurst (comes with mustard and a pickle), sauerkraut, and definitely her housemade potato salad! Peruse the myriad of German treats while you wait. Try to save room for her beautiful desserts, if you can!”

“We stopped for lunch the other day. They had a simple menu, meaning that there were not a lot of choices. Simple was very good in this case. I chose the combo plate with beef and it was a very nice meal. I was surprised that the bathrooms were outside but they were good bathrooms so that was ok. The restaurant is located right by a huge oyster shell. It was neat to see too.”
