This is by far THE best meal we’ve had!! Everything is homemade and so well prepared! Chicken tenders slightly spicy but not too much that melt in your mouth, tacos excellent, fries so tasty with dipping sauce also to die for. Apple cranberry nut coleslaw is the best coleslaw we’ve had! Our server is so pleasant with a great sense of humor and the owner, Shari (sp?) came over and spoke with us - lovely and so sincere! We’ll definitely be back!!

Highly recommend! Do not miss eating here if you are in the area. Loved this restaurant OMG everything is wonderful. There were four of us, we each had something different all dishes were amazing. I had a black bean burger. It was so so good! Wish we lived here so we could visit frequently.

This gem is hidden in Newport. When you drive through or visit up here, stop in! It is worth it.
As someone who has a severe allergy to dairy, I’m always hesitant to try new places. I don’t like to “inconvenience” the staff and ask questions that most of the time they don’t know the answers to.
My family however, is not burdened with this - and they wanted to check the new place in Newport out. I went in anticipating to only ordering fries for myself - as that’s always a safe option. But left having one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!
The owner and chef, Shari, swung by our table and was great at answering questions and providing an option for me - the waitresses were great as well.
The breads are homemade, the food has great flavor and you can tell it isn’t frozen. A few nights before we went here, we went to Clinkerdaggers and the steak I had at Brownells was 100x better - the quality, flavor and price was exceptional.
My family had the grilled cheese and burgers and they were top notch. My husband commented that he wished they had an adult grilled cheese because our sons’ was the best he’s ever had.

Amazing everything! Absolutely the best food in town, cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth! Amazing spices, amazing drinks that pair so well with the food, amazing service, and good entertainment! (Louie is such a gorgeous bird!) Everything is so unique, it’s about time Newport got a fancy and delicious restaurant! Totally worth the money!
