Poodle Dog Restaurant

Hubby had biscuits and gravy for dinner and I had a delightful pasta dish with Alfredo sauce, peas, and asparagus. My garlic bread was delicious too. Hot chocolate had these little chocolate sprinkles on top of the whipped cream, a treat for my eyes 'and' my tummy. Our waitress was great! Savannah was her name. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Music was too loud, the booth they sat us in had crumbs on the seat, and my spoon was dirty. Nothing 'terrible,' just enough to keep the rating at 4 instead of 5. We'll definitely go back to this restaurant.

The atmosphere is great. The waitresses are awesome. I haven't been there in over 40 yrs and it's still the same as I remembered it, friendly. The food portion is worth the money. Had to take over half home. Couldn't eat it all. The food is very well seasoned.

It's diner food, but good diner food. The place is clean, there's plenty of parking, and the staff are all really friendly. The portions are enormous, and could easily be two meals, so the value is high. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. We stopped in on our way to a show on a whim, and had a really great experience.

I used to eat here multiple times a week for breakfast when I worked the early shifts at a local coffee stand about 10 years ago. Seriously still just as good today! I always get breakfast when I come and the serving is at least two meals! Well worth your stop in! You won't be disappointed. Also, their desserts are an insane serving size as well and totally worth the buy!

For a place that started out serving truckers prior to I-5 going in, there's clearly no room now for a truck to pull in and get a bite to eat. Not to mention that getting in or out of the parking lot isn't easy either. The food is decent yet overpriced for what you get. Definitely on the higher price and medium quality of a place. Haven't been back to the bar yet. Looks comfortable enough to enjoy tho.
