“The Bottle Shop is fabulous! It's like a mini-pub no one knows about. A dozen or so taps, wine available. Not many people know but Elks Temple Brewery are masters of flavorful, NE (hazy) IPAs. Always one very good one is on tap here. The beer lineup always has solid brews and Mcmenamins ciders are nice as well. You can make your own four pack to go, fill growlers, and the cozy, retro Pacific theme seating out front is nice and quiet usually, but also lively on Fri/Sat nights! 😁 You can knock on the brewery door and ask for a tour or just talk to the brewer if he is in. And of course the gift shop has lots of interesting things for a unique present, and sometimes sales on wine. Staff are great too! (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧”

“This was, great. They provide bibs gloves and a big plastic lined bucket for the shells. The music is good but not too loud. You can choose your shell fish, seasoning, hotness. My husband choose the Dungeons Crab with lemon pepper and loved it. Then since it's his birthday he had the Snow crab too. I had the shrimp cocktail which was 12 prawns, yummy. And their Hush Puppies are the real thing! I have had them Mississippi and Louisiana and these are just as good! Highly recommend!”

“The food was pretty good and the service was prompt. My main concern was that the server up-sold my order by adding shrimp without telling me before hand. When I asked her about the more expensive bill, she said I would have had to ask for ‘only chicken’ on my vermicelli bowl instead of pointing at the item on the menu, saying the number, and asking for chicken. So make sure you’re clear about exactly what you want, even if it’s not listed on the item you order.”

“Yes! Terrific pho! Richer broth than other places, very tender perfectly cooked noodles and house made meatballs. We also had the shrimp spring rolls — tail on and with delicate savory vegetables inside. Nice hot jasmine tea served up right away if you want. I always try to talk to the staff and the server turned out to be the owner … and she’s super friendly accommodating and professional ”

“My boyfriend took me here for lunch and I think I have a new favorite place. Food was delicious ( I recommend the lodge melt sandwich) best french fries I've had in a long time. The prices are great. The staff is awesome. The regular customers don't side eye you , they smile and talk to you. The atmosphere makes you feel at home. I can't wait to go back. “Stopped by for a quick lunch with our compadres. We got absolute great service since we walked in the door. The location is just stunning and we had live music while we ate! Such a wonderful experience with our friends and kiddos. Drinks and all the food were on point and did no disappointment at all. “What I noticed first about this lounge that it was located in a very urban part of Tacoma on South Tacoma Way by 56th street. I love how lavishly it is furnished for a hookah lounge. Large plush chairs and dim lighting make the ambiance. Parking was free and it costs and affordable $20 to get in. Service is wonderful. The wait staff and security are quick and attentive. Alcohol is served for patrons that are 21 and up . They have a large selection of e-cigs and hookah pens to chose from. I think this place has its regular clientele and mostly for hookahs. There is a mixture of rnb and new hip-hop music. I would recommend this to anybody looking to have a enjoyable night experiencing a time of their lives.”

I'm looking forward to that. The view is the best you'll find of Mt Rainier. On a clear day you will have a spectacular view of the lake, the pool, the mountain and some beautiful houses on the adjacent island. It doesn't get any better than that!”

“Have been going to this restaurant for past year or so. I have been looking for restaurants specializing intestine BBQ just like ones in Korea for awhile and finally found it. I purchased fresh and cooked intestine from various markets but have not found ones like this restaurant serve. I had to ask the owner where she gets intestine. She explained these are special ordered items from exclusive vendor. No wonder I could not find similar ones from markets. Ones I got from markets had strong odor and texture wasn’t right. Ones being served here were flavorful and tender without unpleasant odor intestine is know for. So far I tried cold noodle and spicy pork soup and they are both excellent as well. There are other items on the menu I must try, including various Korean beverages. In summary, excellent food and service. Would highly recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“This is an excellent hike with enough challenge for the novice to advanced beginner hiker. It's a paved trail and perfect for walking or running. It's basically a loop. There are flat portions of you are not accustomed to hills but if you want a challenge do the whole loop. The bathroom is at the bottom of the hill on the parking side and I believe this is the only bathroom here but I didn't really look around for another. You can also go out and just turn back once you reach the gold course part but is is beautiful regardless. There is a bridge but we didn't go on it. If you need to add extra distance, consider going on the bridge. Worth a trip if you're in the neighborhood.”

“I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to give it a try, They had a special which included a large perfectly made crab cake on a field of fresh greens and a horseradishy type sauce,followed by a nice fresh green salad and hot roll, then came the main course a perfectly cooked T-Bone topped with mushrooms sauteed in red wine, fresh carrots and peas, baked potato with all the trimmings, and then just when you were ready to explode a nice piece of cheesecake with chocolate and caramel drizzled over the top (it had to be boxed for later enjoyment). The special should have been called a give away as the price was ...............are you ready.......................$16.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would whole-heartily recommend Oscar's Restaurant in Tacoma.”
