Absolutely great barbecue! We moved from the south last summer and have had a craving ever since. My wife found this place and I'm glad we drove all the way from Olympia to have at it! Colin served us and made amazing recommendations for our first time there. The brisket and pulled pork are my favorite so far, and the turkey is great too. They don't try to church up their meats with crazy ribs, they let the smoke do the work. The sides are great too! Some people may not like the sweet corn bread, but I loved it. And no one can forget the sweet tea. It was made the way you would find anywhere in the south. This is going to be a regular spot to go. Going to take the family this weekend. Don't even care that has only been seven days!
We recently moved to the area and are looking for bbq like back home. This place is awesome! The food is delicious, always ready quickly, and all of the folks behind the counter have been great to chat with. We’ve been going once a week, so we’re working our way through the menu. Brisket is awesome, and they’ll let you choose a fattier or leaner cut depending on the brisket they have at the time. Pulled pork and sausages are great too. So far I’ve loved all of the sides. They even have some alcohol options. It’s also affordable, especially since it’s counter service so a tip isn’t required. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Best BBQ in Puget Sound by far! Awesome staff and friendly owner. We will definitely be back! The Pork Belly is to die for! Their pulled pork is sublime!
Recently retired here from Texas and didn't know if we would be able to find quality BBQ in Gig Harbor.
Thankfully discovered this place. The moist brisket was on point and the fried pickles were to our liking.
Plus it was nice to visit with the owner, who grew up in Austin.
Highly recommend.
