Just tried this place for an early dinner. They still have the old Panda Garden sign up out front FYI. Food was pleasantly better than the last owners but sevice wasn't great. Not many people inside so don't know why our young man server was so rushed, rushing us to order (they have a big menu) & forgot our drinks. Then told us we coud not get wine by bottle for our table? Apparently they use Costco Kirkland brand (server said). I think based on their food will use this place for carryout only but not dine in.

I liked Panda Garden, but love the new Dragon Bistro. The menu is completely new and has some things not previously available ( love the Singaporean fried rice). Prices are reasonable and the wait for me has always been less than what they tell you it will be. I hope this place is around for a long time.

It's nice to finally have a good Chinese restaurant in GH! We had fried rice, foo yong and chicken with string beans and they were all very good. I gave only 4 stars because the menu prices did not match what was actually charged. Be aware that, for instance, a $14 menu item is $14 if paid with cash. If the same item is paid for with a credit card, a 3% charge is added, bringing the item cost to $14.43. This information is not on their menu or website. Hm. Maybe we will think twice before ordering from them again.

I’m so glad the food here was amazing! My family didn’t like Panda Garden before which meant having to drive to PO to pick up from Golden Grill. The Mongolian Beef hit the spot for my husband, 4 stars spicy on that and he couldn’t stop talking about how much he loved it! If you’re a fan of curry, definitely try the singapore fried rice, still dreaming of it as I type this review. Welcome to Gig Harbor!!
