The Harbor General Store

If you go to Gig Harbor, you've got to swing by this cute little place! It's got a great vibe and the food is so good. The Cubano is to die for! They put slow-roasted ham together with Black Forest Ham, some Swiss cheese, and pickles...my husband and I like to walk the Harbor then stop in to the General Store for a quick bite.

It's also a fun place to meet a friend for coffee and catch up. They have a small store, so you can grab a coke if you don't feel like coffee.

Thoughtfully, they have a box of toys for kids and some kid friendly items on the menu, so parents can take their children out and have a grown up meal. I like that they welcome the whole family!

Cute little store down in the Harbor. Some unique deli options. Not too much in terms of grocery options, but a few necessities if you are missing a staple.

Worth checking especially around the holidays... They have all the fandom things that you need but don't necessarily want. Worth it though. Perfect locally owned business

I never knew this was more than a "c" store. I have been back 3 times now. Their deli and hot lunches are amazing and the inside is beautiful....love how it is decorated. A Gig Harbor must visit!

It was a pleasant surprise when i stepped inside. I was expecting a grocery store and was eased to see they had seating and served food items. One of the staff was very helpful on my coffee selection and i was please they offered alternative milk options. Definitely a place to stop in with friends.
