Firehouse Subs Lakewood Pavilion

We showed up a few minutes till close, we had had a rougher day and hadn’t eaten at all, we were tired and hungry and usually when you go places before they close they give you attitude. The staff here did not at all, we also had 4 people ordering sandwiches so it wasn’t a simple easy order. The food was delicious, the staff were great. They were out of some stuff like the meat balls because they had already taken them back, which was fair because they were closing. It truly changed our day. We will go back and highly recommended.

This place had the best people working, they were very helpful and everyone had a smile on their face. The subs were outstanding, I had the brisket with cheddar and my wife had the jerk turkey and both were over the top great!!! Thank you Lakewood store, I will drive 45 min. To get more sandwiches from you.

They are very slow in making a sub. I said "well guess we won't be coming back here again!"
I have to say tho it was totally worth the wait. The sub was better then other sub places. So I have to retract my earlier comment. I recommend The Firehouse Subs, they are the best!

Tasty subs, I enjoyed the BBQ brisket sub & the others in my party loved the meatball sub. There is a dining area or you can order to go. The atmosphere is very casual, decorated with a bit of firehouse memorabilia. A portion of their sales goes to charity & they offer a couple of ways that you can help. A good spot for a casual lunch.

First time having their food, definitely better then Subway for sure!! Better quality of food, I got the meatball marinara sandwich. Loaded potato soup was awesome, very flavorful. Kids really liked their food too. My Uncle John really loved his food, agrees much better then Subway. Worth the money.
