Dickeys Barbecue Pit

I am going to start by saying that I did NOT have a terrible experience. This place was recommended to us by family and they absolutely love this place. Overall it was just okay. Hence the 3 stars. We were expecting a restaurant but it is essentially a fast food BBQ place but only in terms of how it is organized. I would not give the food “fast food” quality however - it was better than that. Clean establishment - including bathrooms, which is refreshing. The service was okay. If my wife and I are out and about we will likely choose one of our other favorite places rather than this one. I am not a big BBQ person to begin with So for those who are I would say try it and see what you think.

I had the smoke house salad with brisket and it was the best salad I’ve had in a long time. I know I will be coming back. The staff were super nice and the decor inside is great. (I already started eating then took the pic)

The manager at the Puyallup Location helped me with a order previously that was mixed up. She was so sweet and fixed it right away. I sincerely appreciate you for that and the food as ALWAYS was amazing. Thanks for making my experience wonderful. Sm

The brisket sandwich was excellent. Tender meat. The Mac and cheese was on par for Dickie's, and the BBQ sauce was pretty good. Good bang for the buck.
Cleanliness could use some review, the table I sat at had well dried sauce on it still.

Love this place! We eat here so often I'm pretty sure I could say "The usual", and they'd know what I wanted. The food is always hiring and made to order. The best brewed tea (sweet), in town.
