The perfect smoke taste that makes you wanna chew longer. Amazing BBQ sauce too. I loved the section on the menu where I got to build my own plate. And compliments to all the employees who keep the place tidy and clean. Definitely worth going out of the way to eat if you don't work or live in this part of Sumner.
Excellent! Great BBQ with lots of choices on the menu. I had the green salad with brisket. Lettuce was fresh and loaded with lots of meat. The ribs are meaty and tender. Plenty of choices for sides too. Come hungry!
Fabulous BBQ! The pulled pork was moist and flavorful, the brisket was smoky and moist. The babyback ribs were tender and flavorful. The sauce has a kick to the traditional hickory and yummy. Baked potato was great, as was the cornbread and salad. They kindly deliver to the nearby hotel which was amazing at the end of a long day!!
I've traveled all over the united states and i will put this place firmly in the top 5 BBQ restaurants I've eaten from. The dining room is elegant yet rustic. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The food is reasonably priced, the portions are good, and the flavor is fantastic for what I have tried so far. I ordered the 3 meat combo plate. I got baby back ribs, 1/2 a chicken, and the hardest thing to pull off brisket. The ribs had a nice crust, good smokey flavor, and they were moist but not overcooked. The chicken was perfect. Nice dry rub on the skin made it crunchy and the meat was moist, smokey, and falling off the bone just how i like it. Now for the brisket. It was very good. Nice flavor and most importantly it wasnt overcooked. It was tender and i will order it again. I also got cowboy beans which were decent, mac and cheese which was the only thing i could really do without (its not my favorite anyhow to be fair) and a cornbread muffin which was baked perfectly. All this plus a 20 oz root beer cost me $29 and some change, and its enough for 2 meals. Eat here. You will not be disappointed.
