Hometown Charm Cafe

My husband and I had breakfast at Hometown Charm Cafe this morning and were very pleased with our food and service. If you enjoy a nice family oriented place to eat this is the place to go. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

A month later I am still thinking about that Monte Cristo sandwich. YUM. My friends had scrambles. Service was so friendly and efficient. We all left with smiles, full stomachs and doggie bags. Also, there are many good vintage stores on that block. It’s probably a good thing that Summer is two hours away from home. Can’t wait to go back!

The service was good, my sandwich was good, my salad not so much, it should have been tossed and fresh should have been served. I have noticed this lately. I should not have to complain about this. Fresh is important in food service!

The food, while not bad, was served without utensils and lukewarm. The waiter I hope was on his first day or last because he really didn't care about our table. A busgirl actually took care of his job. She was good. I won't be back. Off day? Perhaps, but food costs too much money to be marginally good. And I could let that go if the service was spot on!

Such a cute place! The service was quick, polite, and personable. The potions were huge and full of flavor. The food came quickly after we ordered and looked and tasted amazing. Everyone was extremely pleasant; this may be our new favorite breakfast-date spot
