Small menu but good food. Went to see a show at the venue and for a 20% discount. Nice staff.

Really great venue for a show! The space is wide open and plenty of room for dancing. I did not eat there, so I can't tell you about the food. The outside seating is inviting and beautiful. Plenty of comfortable chairs and couches for groups or more intimate gatherings. I really enjoyed the art displays that doubled as ambient lighting. If you get a chance, go see a show there!

I was at Alma Mater for the Art Battle Tacoma event, and I took the opportunity to try their house made ginger beer and a sandwich. The ginger beer is refreshing and spicy. So good! It's not sweet at all, but that's part of the reason why it's so good. It tastes really fresh and crisp.

The meal I ordered was the black bean burger. It was delicious! It came stacked with roasted peppers and onions and had rich flavor. It was very hearty. The fries were wedge fries that looked hand cut. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right with a fluffy center and a crunch outside.

I plan to return to Art Battle Tacoma in December, and I plan to try the cheeseburger next. It looks really good!
