Applebee's Grill + Bar

First time back out since CORVID-19 and Applebees was our first choice. The staff was very thankful we came. They made sure we were safe and all had masks on. Thanks Applebees.

Enjoyed lunch with my cousin and had a fabulous waitress, Iva V. She was very prompt with greeting us and talking our orders. Always enjoy the Grilled Applebee's Salad!! Nice that Iva came back throughout our meal to refill our beverages and see if we needed anything. Great meeting place!! Staying nearby, we had the baby back ribs and salads. Both were pretty good. Service was friendly and fast. Price was not too bad. We had not been to an Applebee's in a long time. We might go again after this experience.

Typical American meals. It's kind of more expensive Denny's. But, it's more presentable, has a bar and tvs. Got here on Friday at 6:30 pm and there were 25 minute waits, though it didn't take that long. Service was OK, but nothing to write home about. I personally think they rely on the computerized pay system instead of providing actual great customer service. To me, their prices are way too high for what you get. We got got our food partially cold, so it wasn't great. Obviously, your mileage will vary. I don't feel they willfully did this, but they need to find a way to improve.

Not sure what flavor the Margarita was but it was delicious. The crunchy shrimp tasted pretty good. I paid about $27 for everything (generous tip included) There were basketball games playing on multiple televisions but not much music. It was crowded but that's expected on a Friday night. Bartenders were really nice and patient as it took us forever to figure out what we wanted. Not because of the selections but because we were talking.
