Buddy's Chicken & Waffles

My wife and I stopped by today to support and locally owned business and let me tell you we were not disappointed! Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and delicious! The portion size was HUGE and inexpensive. Will definitely be stopping by more often! Once the dine in location opens we will be regulars!

There is no greater place than Buddy’s!! The food is on point and Buddy himself has an amazing smile and is so friendly.

The chicken is amazing, crispy but by some incredible magic still moist and flavorful under the outer coating. Clearly Buddy has magical powers and I am here for it! I had the chicken and blueberry waffle and it was as good this time as it was two weeks ago when I ordered it for the first time. Buddy’s is a MUST VISIT!!!

Best chicken and waffles! Husband and I moved here from the south and have been searching for a chicken and waffle place ever since. This has by far been the best experience and nothing has come close to how amazing this food is! Hot sauce and hot honey both were bomb! Looking forward and excited for the restaurant to open downtown! We ate our food so fast we forgot to even take pictures!

This is a relatively new business, and I'm so glad it's here. Picked up chicken and waffles for three people for breakfast for the AFC championship game,, and all three of us were blown away by how good the chicken is. It's lightly battered with an amazing combination of seasoning, perfectly fried so you get crispiness and moistness. I love fried chicken, I used to be in the military and have tried fried chicken from all over the country, and this easily ranks as some of the best I've ever had.

The waffles are also good, I had the cornbread waffle which had a nicer flavor and texture. I also tried the spiced honey, which I thought made a good bite on the waffles in combination with the syrup.

I will definitely be a regular at this establishment. Welcome to Tacoma!

Ordered online, pulled up to the black door and called the number to pick up my order. Used the text system and it let me know my order was ready. Buddy brought the order out himself! Hot, fresh, lightly breaded crispy chicken with buttery waffles. Comes with a side of syrup, butter and spicy sauce. Highly recommend!
