The best staff! Very kind and helpful. I never was bugged but I also didn't feel like I was forgotten. The food was great and wonderfully presented. Loved the fajitas it was great date night dinner, margarita was the perfect accent. We left no room for dessert and how I regret that, planning a dessert dash back at Cactus soon!

Cactus is one of the Proctor District's newest restaurants and its GREAT! What a wonderful addition to this area. I've been there several times and the food is always super yummy! It's not your "canned" Mexican food place. Their menu items are more authentic, the food is very fresh and everything, including the chips and salsa, is just super. Plus, the waitstaff is really nice. I highly recommend that you try Cactus!

Pretty good food and a handy weekend brunch option if you’ve exhausted the usual suspects. Breakfast menu might benefit from some omelettes but they do a nice Mexican-inspired take on a California Benedict with hatch pepper biscuits. If you like froofy drinks with elaborate garnishes (I’ve been known to indulge) there’s lots of fun choices. The downside is that it has an overwhelmingly corporate vibe. There is absolutely no reason for servers to have to wear headsets or for there to be signs in the bathroom instructing patrons to alert the manager if the cleanliness is not up to their standards.

We came during happy hour and sat in the bar. The food was hands down amazing. We told our server that it was our first time here and at the end of our meal they gave us.. a free flan!! It was delicious and a good flan wins my heart any-day. Outstanding service and would highly recommend.

Great food, great prices and the best service I've had in years! Ambience is wonderful! The non-alcoholic mixers are to die for! LOVE THIS PLACE! Definitely my new go-to hang out!
