    There sign outside noticeable but thought it might be a dive. Was wrong ignore the impression from the sign and give the Tips to the chef, so we'll done. Very pretty delivery. Late in the day and still perfectly fresh.

    The food is always excellent. If you don't want to wait, arrive early! There is usually only one waiter and one sushi chef for the whole restaurant. Noemally this wouldn't be a problem, but now they cater to take out app services which increases the customer load...I'm always willing to wait for fresh, succulent, smooth, flavorful sushi

    Really slowwwww service. Soup was cold. Hot sake was warm at best and super cheap tasting. Sushi was good but not great. Overall a 3.5 star place. Need to pick it up.

    Excellent as always. I have never had a bad experience here. The food is always good and service is excellent.

    Probably my favorite sushi place. Definitely my favorite in Tacoma. It's traditional, a few funky rolls but not like those Americanized beasts at Trapper (love trapper too though, amaricanized monster-sized rolls do have a place in my heart). Go to Gari if you like quality raw fish and attention to detail. Great hidden gem to take a date.
