Indochine Asian Dining Lounge

We started the day at the lunar New year celebration at Tacoma Dome. All the food looked and smelled amazing but there wasn't much seating and we wanted to have some drinks with lunch. So we put Asian cuisine in Google Maps and found this gem. We have spent a lot of time in Tacoma but always passed Indochine because we were usually out at night drinking and not sitting down for a meal. What a mistake....this place is amazing. The decor is beautiful. The separation from the bar and the dining room is perfect, and the ambiance created by the pond and the waterfall turned a casual lunch into a date day instantly. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was very friendly. They offer traditional and private dining as well. Can't wait to go back.

Just celebrated the wife's birthday tonight with a party of 6. Very clean, food was tasty, we were greated with friendly smiles as we entered. We will give this place another shot to try different dishes next time so we can get a full tasting of everything they offer. The 6 dishes and 2 appetizers we ordered were all on point. The bar seems like a really cool spot to chill, and have a nice drink or two as well. Look forward to coming back.

The staff is great. Amazing customer service. The food left a bit to be desired. The pad Thai was good, really good. The rice was bland. The spring rolls were horrible. The chicken tasted weird, the shrimp was almost non-existent, and I don't know if it was just because it was in a wrapper but the rice wrapper was more sticky than I have seen before. But for only ordering a meal and some spring rolls and paying $30i kind of expected a little more out of the food.

I walked in with my date to order the best fresh spring rolls I've had in my lifetime. Ly took our order and asked us if we wanted it here or to go. I said, "we'll just eat them here in the waiting area". She brought us our rolls and setup a candle for a romantic appetizer while we waited for our reservations. Thanks Ly!

I had this lovely waitress, her name was kristen and she recommended me what to eat which was very tasty. She was very polite and patient, and everything you would want a waitress to be like. It got busy when I went to eat but she was able to be helpful to me while she had other tables to wait on as well. The whole aesthetic of the restaurant is really relaxing and calm. I didn't feel any bad vibes or problems with the other employees as well.
