Fantastic soup! Try the chicken paprikash! The guy that served me was so friendly! Jim definitely going back again...maybe today!

Delicious soup with vegetarian and vegan options. Their bread is from the fabulous Corina Bakery. Family owned spot that I frequent often.

Consistently delicious soups!! I only wish they served regular corn chowder more often, haha. But this place has become my new go-to!

I feel the lady Laura who works there is largely misunderstood by the customers leaving negative reviews. She's not 'smiley', but far from genuinely rude and\or condescending. She even paid for my soup on one occasion, to make up for a pretty mild inconvenience! It was a wonderfully kind gesture, and it's a shame she doesn't get more credit for her performance.

Love, love, love this place! I'm not from tacoma so it's a rare treat for me to catch it open. They always have multiple vegan choices. ♥
They are open on Saturdays now at 11 even though Google indicates they're closed Sat. Which was great news for me.

The soup was great -- I had their potato soup. It will be my regular lunch spot. However, I am not giving five starts because I didn't feel very welcomed. The lady at the counter did not seem to enjoy serving me. I saw she was happily chatting with the previous customer and she turned so grumpy when it was my turn. I only asked for samples of two flavors because it was my first time. Maybe she didn't like it, or she knew the previous person. I don't know. Since I will be returning, we will see in the future.
