We enjoyed our dinner in the bar area. Service was fast and courteous and the food was excellent!

As always, Josefina's continues to strive to have one of the best Mexican Restaurants in Tacoma. If you have never stop by after a long days work or haven't been there for a while to partake in a Cold and Tasty Beverage or enjoy a truly delicious meal, you should stop by and see what's new! I had not been there in quite some time and couldn't believe the difference the addition of the New Bar area makes in turning this place into a truly full service Restaurant, Bar and Entertainment destination. I plan on making the drive from University Place a regular event with the whole Family to enjoy there Hospitality, Great Food and Cold Beverages. Thank You to the Staff and Owner for all you do to make us feel Welcome. Keep up the OUTSTANDING Job!

I give it 3 stars for the service- the staff was great, the portions are huge- but I'm just not a fan of the food, wasn't to my taste. Everyone I went with seemed to enjoy it- just wasn't for me.

I fall on the side of quality over quantity- if you want heaping portions it's probably the place for you. If you're more picky and would rather have smaller portions that have more flavor and depth, I would suggest somewhere else.

Would not go again.
