Came here for a date. My date set the reservation and it was a beautiful experience. Walked in and it is such a cozy place. Somebody came and helped us pretty quickly and just had to wait a minute for our reservation. The hostess was very kind and helpful.
Our waitress was Danielle and she was great. She made sure we understood the menu and offered to help as well as give suggestions. The menu was so easy to see what was gluten-free which was helpful to me.
The taste of the food blew my mind a little bit. More expensive than I normally go for, but I just loved every single bite that I had! Well worth it!
1. Taste was my favourite part, worth every penny.
2. Service was very friendly and helpful.
3. Mood of this place is wonderful, they do so well with such a small location.
If you are looking for a cheap meal this might not be for you. Menu runs from the cheapest item $5 cup of soup (got that and it wasn't tiny, and so delicious) to I think $38 for the most expensive entree. There are many plates in-between at $10 and $24 and others.
This was an exceptional place. Not only was it romantic and intimate, they recognized my birthday with a card and verbal acknowledgements from every server. We ordered the wild Alaskan salmon with herbed mash potatoes and colorful veges along with a split wedged salad because my husband doesn't eat dairy nor gluten. The dessert is a special family recipe that is gluten free, dairy free and sugar free that has more of a consistency of a dark colored cheesecake...totally delicious, plus it came with a chocolate Happy Birthday written on the serving plate. We have already recommended it to several people and we only left a little over an hour ago. Definitely warrants a return trip in the future.
We stopped in by chance. The decor was very cozy and unique. The hostess was super friendly as she sat us. The waitress was great! We felt very comfortable there. The waitress answered my questions about the menu and helped me make my decision. The food was incredible!!! We both loved our meals. His salmon was perfect!!!
What a charming, delightful place this is. We celebrated birthdays / anniversary with friends here. Decor and atmosphere was wonderful and unique. The food was excellent; well prepared, beautifully presented and, of course, tasty. I'd highly recommend this , especially for a special occasion dinner.
I really enjoy trying new places, and recently I celebrated a birthday dinner at the cafe. Over the Moon did not disappoint. The atmosphere was small and intimate, the wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the menu had a nice variety. I started with the Crab Bisque and Mixed Green and Beet Salad, so fresh and flavorful, then for the main course I had the Braised Boneless Short Rib Ragu it was hearty with a depth of fall flavors, so good. The food and wine were truly delicious. I highly recommend this place!
