Paya Thai Fish & Chips

Like many other reviewers, I had an exceptional experience here. The cod fish and chips is an enormous portion of high quality fish, cooked fresh, and served piping hot. The lingcod, however, stole the show for me.

My order was already underway when I noticed the lingcod special and asked about it. Well, they whipped me up a sample of that too. Excellent fish! Love the option for a grilled, no batter dish. Grilled asparagus too - this isn't a generic, food court experience.

There is an enduring hum of the building's HVAC to endure but I think this place is worth a weekly visit for me ????????

BEST CLAM-CHOWDER I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! I love this restaurant. Everything on the menu is spectacular, and the staff are extra extra welcoming. I tried this place twice and every time I come by, they’re always have great customer service. I recommend everyone to try this place out. You won’t regret it

The homemade chowder is SO good! The fish and chips are satisfying. The guy at the counter, Tom, is a delight.

Glad i stumbled upon this place. One of the workers seen me looking at the menu and told me the story about the shop. It was a Thai restaurant 27 years ago but they decided to keep the name of the old shop. As for the food, i could not have asked for anymore quality and hospitality. Fish and chips come out piping hot and crispy! All the sauces are delectable. This place has become my local spot for fish and chips. Best fish and chips in Tacoma area. Two thumbs up! Thanks guys!

Crispy fish done just right. If you want are craving some real solid fish and chip, this is your place. I'd highly reccomend trying the amazing clamp chowder, it so fresh and pack tons of clamp on every bite, you can even taste the sweetness of the clamp.
