Had the pleasure of having this as my 50th birthday feast. I was blown away by this hybrid style pizza! The crispy cheese edges and spicy sauce create the most amazing flavors. It’s made with love and you can taste it!
My wife and I saw a picture of their pies in the local paper, TNT. We knew we had to try it. Texted them an order early on Friday morning. Dean, the owner, I believe, was right on it. Set up a time for 5:30 pick up. Turns out, so did half of Tacoma. Very short wait to get it considering how many people were there. This place is going to do very well. Detroit style pizza. Crust is a thick focaccia bread with cheesy side burnt or toasted to perfection. The sauce was spicy and terrific. Toppings were plentiful. I do have to say my expectation were high, and at first bite they weren't met. Then another bite, and it was better. Then a third bite, followed by way too many bites. Even better than my expectations. Everyone loved it. A small piece for breakfast, cold, the next day, was delicious. The following evening, after a three hour car ride, warming it up in the oven for dinner might have made it even better. Don't think you need to try that. The Cloverleaf and Tacoma Pie will now be my go to pizza places. Alternating them will make me appreciate the scrumptiousness of each one. Two very different styles, but both are great.
Fantastic pizza! Totally worth the wait for the weekend. Thank you!
Great Detroit-style pizza! Thank you!
