Warthog BBQ Pit

We are used to Texas BBQ, so when we went here, we were already expecting the worst of what we had throughout the area. The flavors of the meat are great, the meat isn’t dry at all. They have some great side dish options. Their sweet tea is very good! They have some good pies too, which you can ask them to warm. The staff are great, and they are really good about remembering us.

First visit, great pulled pork sandwich and choice of BBQ sauce. Upgraded to combo meal, small side of coleslaw (also offered two other options) didn't feel worth the added cost. Others dining with me enjoyed their meals. Friendly staff, great service, clean, and nice atmosphere. Worth a return visit.

I celebrated my PhD today in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we enjoyed a pleasant evening and the place was unquestionably one of the reasons for the happy event. The waiters contributed in a lovely style, the meals were delicious and my buddies were very pleased. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

The food here is delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was piled high with meat & a tasty BBQ sauce. You can choose which side you want from a variety of options. The sandwich, itself is more than a meal & you might not even need the side (though the potato salad was amazing), unless you are very hungry. There are several dining areas & lots of seating for crowds. The atmosphere is what may not be for everyone. It's kind of a hunters lodge kind of look, with multiple examples of animals displayed. If you are in the mood for BBQ & don't mind the atmosphere, don't hesitate to go, it's worth it! If you are in the mood for BBQ, but the atmosphere is not for you, get your food to go, it's still worth it! I was too full to try the pie that they have available, I'll have to try it some other time.
