Sapporo Japanese Restaurant

We love this place! Fun times at the hibachi. Food was delicious and our chef was hysterical.

My partner and I decided to try this place, despite it not being our regular spot, and were pleasantly surprised. It’s tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall, and was a bit hard to find. The restaurant itself is quite large.

We ordered four sushi rolls and enthusiastically enjoyed all of them. Usually I get more excited for the more expensive ‘special’ rolls, but we got two of the non special roles and I found those just as enjoyable as the ‘special’ ones. The fish was fresh, the presentation was lovely, and I tried my first role with mango in it which was amazing.

Four rolls and a beer each later, we only spent about $60 so we were quite happy with the prices. They were having happy hour at the time so our regular rolls were reduced in price as were our draft beers.

Overall very pleased with this restaurant and will be returning again sometime soon hopefully.

Had an excellent experience! Our server Johnny was warm, prompt and knowledgeable. We had a few sushi rolls, fried rice and various appetizers,t all of which tasted great. Especially, the crab racoons. They have a nice selection of sake as well with their small house sake available during Happy Hour for 3$!

First time in. We loved the place. Staff were very friendly and attentive. There were plenty of food options (some non Japanese even). All of th food was very good. All were pleased. We did not try the hibachi options.

Prices for some menu items / compared to size were on the steep side.

We will go again.

Awesome staff and awesome chef! I literally walked in and was served food instead of waiting for other parties to fill up the table. Great quality of meat and the amount that they gave us! Left full and fat eating some best hibachi in the area.
