Island Pie

We had a lovely dinner. They do their social distancing/covid measures right. Our server was thoughtful. The food was delicious. Great salad. They went above and beyond for my boys birthday by bringing out a sweet scoop of ice cream on top a warm cookie. Glad we chose this place for our first sit down dinner out since the lock down.

We made a point of driving out to Deer Harbor to try Island Pie, and we were not disappointed in the least! I am originally from New York and a pretty critical pizza eater; we are always looking for a good place to get a decent pie.
That being said, this is definitely NOT NY style pizza, but it IS absolutely delicious! The crust is thin and crispy, and does not have a giant, thick crust around the edge, so you can enjoy your toppings in every bite. The sauce was good and blended well with the cheeses in the toppings. My wife enjoyed her pizza (seasonal) so much she would have rated a six if she could!
All pies are 12" which makes it easy, since you just need to choose toppings. Service was friendly and the views are outstanding, as the restaurant is nestled right in the harbor.
Island Pie is highly recommended for your visit to Orcas Island!

We met the owner and she's very nice. The food and wine tastes great. Definitely coming back for more authentic Italian cuisine. The freshly baked Focaccia was absolutely perfect. The apple crisp pie with vanilla ice cream is extremely delicious, not heavily cinnamon and the apple tastes great.
