The food is tasty and fresh. The mac and cheese, for instance, is a perfect blend of flavors that shines through by not overwhelming the palate with richness.
We were visiting friends on San Juan Island and we took their boat over to Olga and walked up to the restaurant. We were a large group so we walked around the gallery while we waited for lunch.
Everything on the menu is made from scratch and provided locally. It was fresh and flavorful and very filling. Breakfast was served all day so we had a mix of that and lunch items. I loved that the kitchen was open and you could watch the work.
Food was okay. Nothing really special so that meant four stars. The yogurt was tasty but it was just tub yogurt from the grocery store with average granola. Unfortunately, service was lacking so that deducted my review to 3 stars. The server took a while to be responsive, didn’t have a sense of concern for patrons, and forgot the bacon for the sandwich. It’s worth it if you don’t want to drive into Eastsound.
Delicious food! Try the pancake! One of the best pancakes i have ever had!
Very tasty breakfast. Try the Dutch baby and baked eggs. Great artwork to enjoy with your meal. They also have 2 kinds of beer on tab.
