Cafe Zippy

I went to see a poetry night which was mildly entertaining. The employee making coffee had no idea what he was doing. My friend had to tell him her drink order four times and he still got it wrong. Making a hot coffee instead of and iced one. I ordered a chai tea latte and was told later that they were out. I then ordered a hot chocolate instead and when I got it it was barely warm and not sweet enough. I could have made it better at my house with the powder and water. Very Disappointed.

We had a great night at Cafe Zippy this evening! We walked in late to open mic night and felt welcome immediately. The music and poetry was a great delight. Everyone was cheerful and encouraging. I even made it up on stage myself and I cant wait to do it again. My lovely daughter Olive felt like she was home there and even graced the stage herself amidts my performance. Although we left a bit early I can't wait to go back and share that experience once more. Thank you!

Fascinatingly eclectic space with a shared business wine selection that could pair marvelously. Salted Caramel Brownie, a doppio and a smooth, chocolatey red wine. Perfection for a relax and read late afternoon. They offer Cinnamon Rolls from Flying Apron for a unique morning treat. Warm one of those up with a wet cappuccino and watch it rain...

Poetry slam on Thursdays is always fun. The staff are great and accommodating. Rotating draft beers along with a decent selection of bottled beers and many wines. Chill place to hang out and read, or people watch or whatever.

Cool funky place to meet and enjoy wholesome good-for-you food and get an enjoyable glass of wine or great beer from the bar. Live music will entertain you on select evenings. Have a great conversation with the owner, Marilyn, on a variety of meaningful and current topics.
