La Hacienda Restaurant (Marysville)

It's what I expect from Mexican restaurants this far north. Some of the flavors lack authenticity but that doesnt mean it does not taste great. Not my go to when I crave authentic but certainly worth visiting. I especially like the hand made tortillas. The staff are courteous but generally busy. The rice and beans are good but their rice sometimes tastes like rice that's been reheated one too many times. The food comes out quick and it shows on the flavor. Everything comes out seeming "nuked" or rapidly heated. Again, still good, but not my top choice for Mexican food.

I hadn't been to LA Hacienda for years because I moved out of the area. Being in the area again, I had to go back to see if it was still as good as I remembered. I had the chicken chimichanga and it was just as good as I remembered. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. I'll be back.

The Margaritas were very good and strong, no skipping on the alcohol. I had tamales, yuk! This Mexican food is white washed. It's not authentic Mexican.

I am sure I have reviewed this restaurant before as it has been one of our favorites for more than 20 years. I love the food and the people are very nice. No one has ever been rude or disrespectful. I love the food and the drinks and highly recommend it!

We ordered the chicken deluxe and chicken signature burrito. While we waited, we noted that the chips and salsa were quite enjoyable. The salsa had a nice kick and the chips were warm. The deluxe was amazing. Top notch ingredients and great seasoning. The signature featured a mole sauce unlike any I'd ever had. Just this side of sweet with smoke and cinnamon, delicious! The raspberry margarita was delicious!
