“We came in after seeing the window ads. This is a nice restaurant if you want a quiet place to eat Asian dishes. The QR code ordering takes a bit to get used to. The staff are attentive and very friendly. We ordered the Tom Yum Shrimp Noodle and the Yakiudon with Chicken. Both where very delightful. The food is not heavy or greasy. I would say it's fairly healthy. I look forward to returning to try the other menu items.”

“They are open and busy!! All the staff were very friendly and helpful but there were a lot of customers. The sign isn’t quite up and it’s just a banner. Be ready to eat because the portions are large!! The menu is large with a lot of variety. The inside is lovely with lots of seating. Maybe because it was so busy they did forget a few things with my meal but not a big deal. Hope to return soon :)”

“I have come on a variety of times, some better than others... When I used to come years ago I liked the food quite a bit (it was definitely your delicious 'unhealthy, but I don't care' comfort food quality). The last three times I went though I had mixed feelings. I ordered a chicken burger- and saw the staff heat it up in the microwave before giving it to me. Restaurants that have grills shouldn't need to heat up food in a microwave... Another time I asked about if they had any sorbet (they served ice cream at one time, not sure if they still do) and explained I was having issues with dairy, and they behaved really annoyed about having to deal with food sensitivities and generally unpleasant to talk to when if came to asking ingredient-in-food questions. The third and most recent visit I just ordered sweet potato fries as takeout, but the cashier (who was pleasant) had taken his bare unwashed hand, grabbed a paper towel which he then put overtop the fries (holding the paper towel overtop) out of fear the fries might fall out of the cup it was served in. I get he was trying to make sure my fries didn't spill, but all I cared about was the bare hand overtop the food I would eat, with just a paper towel in between. It bugged me the whole drive home- wish I had said something so he is more self aware of his food handling.”

“I visited this place a long time ago, not long after they opened, and I really did not like it. A couple months back I really wanted some spicy chicken and did not have time to run to my usual spot so I decided that I would give them a second chance, so glad I did. The spicy chicken is very tasty as well as spicy enough to give a bit of a tingle, I also really enjoy the Henry's Fried Chicken. Since that second chance I think I have been back like 5 times.”

The service was great and everything came out quickly but my large was exactly the same size as my coworkers medium. I ordered the special combination that lists extra meatballs but it had a minimal amount of meat for a large and the extra meatballs consisted of 3 slices of meatball!?”

“I used to order from this place like twice a week, but recently they've been backsliding on their customer service and the quality of their food. I placed an order online for the Mix Kabob plate which comes with a side of salad and a side of rice. I requested hummus instead of salad because the cucumbers and tomatoes they use aren't fresh. The tomatoes are prepped too early and saved overnight, so when I order in the morning, the tomatoes are saturated in their own juices, soft, pulpy, and slimy. Same with the cucumbers. They've been accommodating in the past, but when I asked for hummus instead of salad this time, they decided to give me salad anyways and omit the rice. Now, not only do I get exactly what I didn't want, but I get a double portion of it instead of having rice on the side at all. I view the reception of a double portion of salad with mealy tomatoes to be a symbolic expression that states "You want hummus instead of salad? Order somewhere else." Alright. Will do. They also gave me a piece of pita bread, which is nice. Maybe I'll dip it in my imagination.”

My daughter was impressed with the grilled cheese and proclaimed she “loved it so much!” And my guys eyes were nearly as big as the blueberry pancake that arrived the size of Texas. He couldn’t eat it all, and man let me tell ya, that’s saying something! As wonderful as the food was I found the staff to be twice as nice. Attentive, funny, and sweet to the kids, my waitress really did serve up some “good eats” -as advertised! The outdoor seating area, indoor skylights and amazing food certainly land Voula’s Good Eats on my repeat visit roster!
