“The Canyon Park Place store has moved from the side of the QFC to the side of the Washington Federal Savings buildings just a block to the West. And they now have a drive-through at their new home! The old site was a wonderful, friendly, delicious place to visit so I am happy that many of their staff have moved with the store. They now have an even bigger store (which looks great from the outside - can't wait for them to be allowed to open the sit-down-and-enjoy part of the store). They are not inside the Washington Federal Bank - the building is now divided into two sections. There are some new baristas, all of whom have been very friendly, but are still learning some of the technical details. But not for long: Stacie is a great manager and the newbies will soon be not just friendly but also part of the very knowledgeable staff who always make my custom drink perfectly (Venti, White Mocha, 3 shots, 7 pumps White Mocha, No Whip = WONDERFUL!!).”

“I have come on a variety of times, some better than others... When I used to come years ago I liked the food quite a bit (it was definitely your delicious 'unhealthy, but I don't care' comfort food quality). The last three times I went though I had mixed feelings. I ordered a chicken burger- and saw the staff heat it up in the microwave before giving it to me. Restaurants that have grills shouldn't need to heat up food in a microwave... Another time I asked about if they had any sorbet (they served ice cream at one time, not sure if they still do) and explained I was having issues with dairy, and they behaved really annoyed about having to deal with food sensitivities and generally unpleasant to talk to when if came to asking ingredient-in-food questions. The third and most recent visit I just ordered sweet potato fries as takeout, but the cashier (who was pleasant) had taken his bare unwashed hand, grabbed a paper towel which he then put overtop the fries (holding the paper towel overtop) out of fear the fries might fall out of the cup it was served in. I get he was trying to make sure my fries didn't spill, but all I cared about was the bare hand overtop the food I would eat, with just a paper towel in between. It bugged me the whole drive home- wish I had said something so he is more self aware of his food handling.”

“Really enjoyed being able to take plenty of time to figure what to get and then use ordering kiosk to select items and pay. When the order number appears on a screen near the collection counter you can pick up the food. We took ours to go and enjoyed a nice shamrock shake and a fish sandwich. The bun on the sandwich was so fresh it was like wow! Fish was fine too. Really like this new, modern and convenient McDonald's!”

They even had flowers on the tables which was a little odd for a mcdonalds, but the attempt to make this location nicer is appreciated. The service was better than any McDonald's I've been to. One employee kept walking around asking if anything was needed which was more often than I would like but he was just doing his job of friendly customer service. It's the effort that makes this 5 star rating.”
