Bruncheonette

I like it, coffee was a bit bitter for our taste. $3.50 was a bit much for 1 slice of bread, yes, there was house made strawberry jam, and honey butter, but...?

I've been to Bruncheonette 3 or 4 times over the last couple of years. Each time, the service, food, and drinks were excellent. The Bloody Mary was one of the better ones that I have tried while dining out. It had a bit of spice, which was great because I love spicy Bloody Mary's.

Per usual, my Verde hash packed the flavor and was perfect with the Habanero hot sauce drizzled over it. No matter what you order, you will be pleased. My favorites are the Verde hash and chorizo tacos. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits today, I tried a bite of her grits, and they were so good and had lots of flavor.

This is a smaller, open space, so plan accordingly if you are going with a group. If you do have to wait, there is a beautiful view of the courthouse across the street. Do yourself a favor and go grab brunch!

Fun and different breakfast options. I had the tamale waffle which was delicious. My friends had the biscuits and gravy which they also said was very good. Staff are all very polite and efficient.

Was in from out of town. I always look for places that serve things I can't get at home.

The service was amazing. In fact I would say that sitting on the bar provided us with well above exceptional service and conversation.

The food was impeccable. We shared the chicken and waffles (both were delicious) and the grits (we both would HIGHLY recommend the grits!). The combo of both dishes left nothing to be desired as they filled all the requirements for a spectacular breakfast.

I wish I lived closer because I would turn this into a regular event in my life if it was an option.
