Beautiful food, great service, novel train car setting! We've been impressed every time we come. Lot's of meat options and plenty of vegetarian options, happy staff, accessible entrance in addition to steps.
One of our favorite places in Spokane for breakfast. Iconic and popular place to eat. Can have a huge wait on weekends. Always great service and food. Fun to sit up at counter and watch them cook.
What an incredible spot! My wife and I stopped here for lunch after our flight into GEG and it did not disappoint. From the interesting history to the cool ambiance inside the car, to the incredible food quality, these guys do a great job. I had the best chicken fried steak in the PNW and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my wife’s substitutions as she’s pregnant. Overall an excellent spot and we’ll definitely be coming back!
What a treasure! On our way to thru Spokane and needed to stop for “lunch”. As fans of anything railroad, we had to eat here! Loved the history and authenticity. Had the elk chop and eggs, bacon burger with fries, and split a Reuben with mashed potatoes and gravy. Everyone cleaned their plates. Definitely worth the short wait.
What a beautiful diner!! He had elk and eggs and loved it. I had veggie eggs. Our hash browns were so perfectly crispy! Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Just a great meal and experience.
