To be honest I loved this little place. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it is actually quaint and relaxing. It’s ran by an older couple. The food came out at a good time. It tasted amazing. You can tell that they care about the food they put out. Me and my friend definitely enjoyed ourselves here. If you want somewhere simple to relax and chat. I recommend it. Parking is also easy. It might not be upscale but it is definitely lovely :)
July 2023 Update:
We visited Kinja this weekend and they have lost a lot of the appeal they had. The track hasn't started back up, the polish of a restaurant is missing, service took a dive, and menu slimmed to basically sushi. The sushi is amazing, but somewhat pricier than I think it should be.
I am not seeing a big difference between this and sushi house.
Prior review:
We have eaten at Kinja for years. Service is great and food is worth the price. Things dip a bit when they are in a rush, but it is really good overall. Fresh sushi and a ton of options.
Delicious traditional Bibimbap in a hot stone bowl, they thoughtfully even brought a small side of kimchi. Casual atmosphere w classic rock and plastic table cloths. Can’t wait to try the Kalbi next time.
