Pho Van

In Spokane, for a delivery, I heard of this spot from a friend, so I decided to check it out. Was greeted by 2 ladies as I came in. One was a server, and I believe the second lady was maybe the owner. The server lady came towards me, I walked behind her, and she started asking every table how the food was, if everything was good. I thought nothing of it until I followed her around the whole restaurant, and neither her nor the other lady said anything. Finally, I got seated and provided a menu right away, I went with the pho dac biet. Beef broth, rice noodles, eye round steak, well done lean meat, meat ball & soft tendon. Sprouts, jalapeños were given on the side. Pho was superb, with excellent taste, lean meat was perfectly cooked, meatballs were delicious, tendons were tender, sprouts, and jalapeños gave it a nice crunch. I added some oil chili to help the jalapeños give it a nice spice. It was a good portion and was also filling. Everything was exquisite and flavorful. Would have given it 5 stars, but first the incident when I came in and also when I went to pay. The owner lady took my card and told me to sign one copy and wait for my card and my receipt. She hands me my card only, now I'm waiting for a receipt, this lady she goes back to working as if I wasn't even there anymore... totally dumbfounded. I said ok..... thank you... She didn't even look at me and gave what sounded like a forceful mumbling thank you. Would not be back due to the lack of service I received. I would advise you to try at your own discretion.

Open concept. Can feel crowded. Seating I feel is a little tight. Great staff and very good service, fast. Dinner time gets busy fast with dine in and take out.

Food was good. The Pho was great, on the sweet side. Good portion of meat and noodles. I really enjoyed it.

The coconut bubble tea was not bad. I prefer the smoothie style.

Delivery is always fast and my kiddo loves their sweet and sour chicken. Their tofu chow fun is my favourite, so flavorful!

The spring rolls were a large portion at a good price and the pho was just what I needed after a long night. Pho Van opens a bit later than other restaurants and we were really thankful to get some authentic, hot food at the end of the night.

The food was amazing and fair priced. The pho broth was so delicious and flavorful. The food came out super quick too so there wasnt much waiting around. I wish that the server had checked on our waters a bit more than she did but otherwise everything was great.
