1st time at the South Hill location, and I could not have been more pleased! Our server acted like she was happy to wait on us and did so impeccably! Taco salad was very tasty-lots of fresh jalapeños!-and a great smoky-tasting cheeseburger for my husband! Very accommodating to children!

We've been here several times over the few years. The food is solid and service has been friendly. My biggest gripe is there beer list. It's always pathetic and I end up just getting a can of Bodhizafa. They must be getting kickbacks from King Beverage. This trip they had 3 IPA’s on and all were breweries that have at least partial ownership by AB. This in itself isn’t horrible…but the beers aren’t great. I’d be happy to help y'all out with your list for some restaurant credit 😉

1st visit. I recommended it to my family. We got a wide variety of foods. The clam chowder was excellent. Maybe the best I've ever had. Unfortunately - it wasn't hot. The sandwiches and salads were delicious and generous portions. The taco salad was a giant pile of shredded lettuce without adequate amounts of meat, cheese, etc. Most of the lettuce went uneaten. The fried fish and chips had a very thick coating of dry, tough breading. It was nice fish inside the breading but you shouldn't have to pick off the outside to eat something. Our waitress never offered to refill drinks. Young lady was more concerned about eating her own food at the counter. We will give it another try sometime. I saw potential but not sure about that. I really wanted to love it. We drove 1.5 hours round trip to try it. Every restaurant has off days. I noticed the person in our party who had the fish didn't tip at all. I left extra so the tip was right. Try it for yourself!

Pleasantly surprised that a nice piece of juicy chicken breast was included with this meal instead of thin cutlery’s or chicken fingers.
The hot sauce is a nice acidic touch to the salty and sweet and is just delightful!!!
The waffle is nice and crispy and absorbs the syrup and sauces without becoming a soggy mess and the chicken is hot and super crispy.
