South Hill Grill

For a grill, they have some great sushi, we were really surprised and our server was incredible. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Our experience was just ok. I can't say that we would go out of our way to return. Let's start with the good points. The lemonade was good. The steak on my black and blue salad was well cooked. Ok. Now for the downside. The bacon on the Jalapeño wrap wasn't cooked all the way through. The burger was bland and not impressive. The fries almost seemed stale. The salad was just ok. Not enough steak. The atmosphere was loud but not uncommon. No football on the TV's during college football on Saturday. Kinda of dirty. The silverware was in a communal boat with napkins underneath. You had to reach under the clean silverware to get to them, which makes me wonder how clean the silverware is.

Super loud place! Borderline too loud. Fun family bar and grill setup with outdoor seating available. Sushi was really good, drinks were strong, staff were friendly. Bathrooms were a little worn out. Took a long time for drinks and food to arrive but it was pretty good food!

Despite its unassuming exterior, the quality of their sushi was impressive. The Menso roll, in particular, topped with salmon and lemon, was a delightful combination of flavors that I absolutely loved. The freshness and attention to detail in their offerings made for a memorable dining experience.

Breakfast menu has classics like French toast and omelettes, and expands to chicken & waffles. Service is attentive. Great place to bring your loud relatives, or have a quiet meal on the patio.
