Sonnenberg's Market & Deli

Great deals on lunch meat ; ham & turkey. Great locally sourced beef. Spicy jerky was a bit dry, but I'll try the teriyaki next time. Beer prices are a bit high. If you snoop around the deli section there are good deals to be had.

First time going Sonnenberg’s Market and Deli today and I’m already excited to go back. I bought some delicious andouille that we made tonight and chicken to make pot pie this weekend. This business is a Spokane gem. I don’t know if you can find customer service like Sonnenberg’s anywhere else in town. Aside from Woods Meats and Tim’s Meats in Idaho this will be my go to place for buying meat.

The best cuts of meats I've seen in years - here to coast - amazing. Top shelf quality at reasonable prices. I'd go so far to say (if your health minded) that you'd be remiss in your duty to self care if you didn't shop Sonnenberg's while downtown. Great small town store with above average service. Update: this place still RULES. Now having returned a few times, it just gets better.

If you are looking for good meats, this is the place! So many options. I hesitate to mention my favorite because it's so hard to come by but I guess I will. Their horseradish cheddar sausage is the bomb! You probably won't like though so don't buy it. That's more for me😄 I call them often and ask if they have it and finally they will but if you don't get there right away it's gone. I feel like they should make more but what do I know.
They have seafood, steaks, Burger, pork, several different sausages, meat sticks, oh, and bacon! Good bacon! Plus there is plenty more. The deli has potato salad, pasta salad, cheese, and lunch meat too.
They also have regular grocery items, produce, and drinks. The hot case has done great Mac and cheese and if you add the boneless hot wings it's buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. Good stuff!

The sausages they make are delicious. However, going into the store was a bad experience. Having not been in before I didn't know what all they had in the meat dept. Trying to look and see what was there with so many people was impossible. People were coming at both sides, nobody knew who was there first, workers were yelling about the line. After waiting in line for our turn...finally getting to see a little of the meat case we were rushed to make a decision. That decision ended up being us leaving and spending our money at another market. They aren't suffering for business, obviously the product is quality. But unless you have a way to know exactly what is available that day be prepared to make 2 trips through the "line". One to see what they have, 1 to actually order.
