Santa fe chicken sandwich was just ok, a lot of mayo. The kids butter noodles was large portion for $7. Kiddo liked it, but he was also starving. The corn pasta salad... gross... also ended up with a hair in it that definitely wasn't mine.
It was seat yourself, a couple of open tables. Took longer than normal to get any server to our table. After finally ordering it took 40 mins to get our food. Our server, it was hard to get her attention. I think she might have been covering too many tables.
My meal with the hair was removed from the check.
    The service was very poor.

Out of town traveling, I needed a quick, yet non-fastfood location to eat. I had been on a plane and travelled all day. I wanted something nice to eat, but had to get driving again. Plus it was late, so this place came up and checked the boxes.

I mostly followed the ratings. This is a classic bar food location, but has some hidden surprises on the menu. I found this Korean pork bowl, and sounded good, yet totally out of bounds for the location.

Location. Bar with decent street parking, and plenty of outdoor seating, plus tons of indoor seating, so as you choose.

    Atmosphere. It's a bar. It's as expected.

Service. Super kind, incredibly smiled gal waited on me at the bar. She recommended the bowl I found, so that helped me take the plunge.

Food. You know by now what I ordered. Listen, I've eaten Asian food literally all over the world. I lived in Japan for 5 years. I've been to very major capital in Asia, and this was good. It was really a tad of a fusion of Japanese and Korean, but it was really good. I was so surprised. Was it "authentic," nah. It was a bar version, by what's likely a talented, adventurous chef. But it was straight up good, with ton's of flavor and even a little fire (spicy). I really enjoyed it.

Bottom-line for me always is, would I go again. Yes, indeed I would. There was one other item that caught my attention (some fusion taco I believe), but I may go for the Korean pork bowl again. Not to mention I'd love to see that smile again ;)
Not a ton of good options in Spokane.

    Thanks the Elk!

Has a local, neighborhood feel. Excellent lunch place. Found it by accident in looking for something close to the museum. It was a great walk from there to the museum in a cool old neighborhood. Food was excellent and ample. They got very busy with only one server but she was excellent.

Finally had a chance to try this place and was not disappointed. Smaller menu but that should mean the food is on point. And yes it was. Had the Reuben with the kung pao cauliflower appetizer. You must try it, It was delicious. The sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and I've had a few. Very satisfied and half left over for later. Highly recommend it.

Wow wow wow. From out of town and happened to pick this place because it was the closest one to where we were. Upon walking in a local recognized my friend and said we picked one of the best places to eat.

You seat yourself here but the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. They were patient as we decided what to order looking at other google and yelp pictures. I think our server was Marcus. What we loved was that he didn’t ask if we needed refills but saw that we needed them and said he’d grab them for us without us needing to ask. He also knew the names of the regulars in the booth behind us.

I ordered the French Dip Royale with Corn Pasta and my friend ordered a salad. My meat was cooked so well I was pleasantly surprised and the pasta went so well together. My friend said the salad was good too.

Would recommend if you’re visiting Spokane.
