Rusty Putter Bar and Grill

Nice facility, nice staff. Food is pretty mediocre. But the setting amongst the golf course and nature is beautiful. Don’t order their soda, it tastes nasty. Better off ordering a beer.

This is my favorite place to enjoy a meal. One can get into an academic discussion over the quality of the food, but the food is definitely good and the ambiance of the Rusty Putter puts it over the top. The patio dining experience sets it apart. What you see from the patio is a calming combination of the pastoral and forested landscape. You can watch as golfers putt out on the ninth green with a pond and fountain in the background. In the evening a fire pit takes the chill off.as you finish a beer or cocktail. The menu items include the typical "bar" food but there are items that go well beyond that stereotype. It is a great place to enjoy a lunch after a round of golf or relax on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine. A refresh of the interior part of the restaurant is happening right now (Winter 2022) so I have something to look forward to when I return this Spring.

Nice well rounded selection at affordable rates. The outdoor seating is lovely.
