The Park Side Cafe

Clean and delicious. The hand pies are heavenly and the Black forest cake was divine. Excellent assortment of teas that are steeped to perfection. The only negative is that there aren't prices on things. Why?

So glad this place exists, there should be more places like it. Brilliant vegan/gluten free options, well presented and served at the counter. Tasty and delicious. Not overpriced...solid breakfast for two with coffee about 15/each. Lovely staff.

I love bringing avid-meat-eating friends to vegan and vegetarian restaurants; it's such a great gauge of how good the food is when a carnivore loves it! That happened here. :~] We also enjoyed the layout of the Cafe, with its views of the neighborhood. Parking was easy, too - and free.

I love the three items for $13 deal :) I got the vegan breakfast sandwich, country fried seitan with mushroom gravy, bagel with smoky carrot lox and cashew cream cheese, and a chocolate chip cookie (additional price). This is also just such a great atmosphere to hang out in with friends or by yourself. Lovely people working here too.

WOW!! Finally got a chance to give this place a try and was not disappointed. My husband and I stopped in to grab some desserts to go but everything in the case looked so good that we stayed for lunch. It was so hard to pick what we wanted cause everything looked and sounded so good, so we tried A LOT and it was all outstanding!! Our favorites for lunch were the lasagna, pepperoni pizza hand pie, breakfast burrito and the cheesy cauliflower mix. We got some pastries to go and those were insanely good as well. The owners did such a wonderful job on the renovation of the building. It was beautiful and the roof top seating was so nice! Staff was super friendly and helpful and even let me have a small sample to help me decide what I wanted to get. We will definitely be back and be bringing friends and family. Vegan or not this place has exceptional food!
