Staff are welcoming and cool and always have good banter. The food is always on point and it's great for a light snack or a good hearty feed. I had a beer here on one of my trips called 'Captain Planet' and it was one of the best brews i'd ever tasted. My one regret is not being in town for a summers day to drink way too much on their patio which looks rad. I hope to get back to Bellingham soon to have another visit.

The staff were great and the food was amazing! Not always in the area but will definitely have to come back here next time I'm in the area! Recommend the lemonade with the blueberry syrup and the classic burger with waffle fries!

Summer is here and Alsan has one of the best patios in Bellingham! Really good selection of beer and food. I would say that the decor, vibe, and atmosphere is the real showstopper that makes me want to come back next time I'm visiting. Definitely a go to stop if you are in the area! Large area that can accommodate a lot of people which is always a bonus.

I’ve fallen for Aslan Depot but had not made it to their original location until today. Airy with lots of light and wood. Welcoming though a bit cacophonous for my sensibilities. Still, good beer—I enjoyed Rice Crispy today—and savory yummy waffle fries poutine made for a relaxed and slightly indulgent happy hour. May have to return to sample more of the food *pats belly*
