Grant's Burgers

Delightful chocolate shake. The place is the classic diner style. Easily accessible, has limited outdoor seating, and a full menu of food I didn't try. Because I came for a milkshake and left very satisfied.

After getting some haircuts across the street, we decided to go have some dinner at Grants. We noticed they closed in 15 minutes, but we figured we could sit and eat our dinner while the employees cleaned up and finished up their day. After ordering our food and saying that we would like to eat in, a girl came out of the kitchen and asked us if we were wanting our food for there or to go. I told her that we would like to eat there if that would be okay. She told me that they were closing and her boss wants them to be out of there no later than 8, so we would need to take our food to go. Okay...what’s the point in asking me then? The girl that took our order brought us our food and looked quite embarrassed about the other girl and even apologized. I’ve managed fast food for years, and this is not how customers want to be treated! A short drive home to eat our food and the fries are cold and stale, there appeared to be some burnt inedible stuff in between my hamburger patties. Quite unimpressed at this point!

Old school diner feel. Great food. Prices are spots on!! No 20 dollar burgers here.. Large portion tarter and fries. Real ice cream shakes!
